This page explains the information collected on the ELDMARCH website (eldmarch.com). The privacy policy for the game itself will be available at launch.
What we collect
That this site was opened, and that a button was pressed.
The display language at that time, where you came from (the utm_* values in the URL, and whether the previous page was a search engine, social media or something else), the rough type of device (iOS, Android, PC, etc.), and whether you used an in-app browser.
We do not collect your name, email address or anything else that identifies you.
Cookie
To remember where you first came from (the utm_* values), we keep a cookie (game06_src) for 30 days.
The game will launch on the same eldmarch.com, so this value also carries over when you start the game.
Why we use it
To count where our visitors come from and to improve our announcements and advertising.
What we do not keep
We do not keep IP addresses or the raw headers your browser sends (such as the browser name string).
No third-party analytics
We do not use third-party analytics tools (tags). Records are written inside Cloudflare, which serves this site.
